We Chase Shadows by Richard Osman review
Richard Osman's new one, for a dull Thursday
We Chase Shadows. Easy in, good on a train, finished by the weekend.
8/104.6 / 5
Richard Osman's new one, for a dull Thursday. We Chase Shadows. Easy in, good on a train, finished by the weekend.I wanted the complaints before I wanted the praise. They were easy to find. You fall in without effort. The humour is worn lightly. Not every turn was visible from page one. My week with it landed in the same place. The marks against it are in the reviews as well, and they are fair. If the earlier books missed, this won't convert you. I foresaw one twist and was unbearable about it. I scored it 8 out of 10. I am not averaging the star row. I am telling you what I kept.
